Andrea grew up in Richardson, Texas, where she attended Berkner High School. Her career began as an EMT in the human medical field while attending St. Edwards University. After several years in this position, she realized that her true calling was in veterinary medicine, perhaps as a result of her attachment to her own animals: Hope, a Miniature Schnauzer; Bobby, a cat; Cappie, a rabbit; and Sunny, a cockatiel. While working full-time at Katy Trail Animal Hospital, Andrea is also attending Cedar Valley College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. After obtaining her RVT license, Andrea plans to specialize in the field of physical therapy of animals.Andrea likes to travel to see her family in Kansas as often as time permits. She also enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, and water skiing. Hope, her Schnauzer, is always at Andrea's side in their outdoor adventures.
Her goal in life is to bring a warm smile to everyone she meets, including her patients.
