Barbie gained her administrative knowledge at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. She was a shift supervisor in a Corsicana distribution center for about seven years before venturing into the veterinary field. She has been hooked ever since. Barbie takes pride in her communication and organizational skills which are put to good use each day as she strives to meet the needs of pets, clients, and the Katy Trail staff.

When not at work, Barbie enjoys tennis, walking, and spending time with her wonderful husband, Ryan, and son, Tyler. Rocky, Lily and Kylie, the family's pets, also share their home. They will forever hold their beloved Bam Bam and Maxine in their hearts.
