Lauren was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, the youngest of four children and the only girl. In school she excelled in several sports, including baseball, basketball, track, cross country, and swimming. Her passion for animals also started at an early age by taking in strays that found their way to her home. She moved to Dallas in 2005 and worked as a waitress before finding her calling in the veterinary profession.

She currently shares her home in Richardson with her boyfriend, Anthony, and two dogs, an English Pointer named Patches and a recently adopted terrier named Tweek. The queen of the household is Mama Kitty, a domestic long-haired black cat.

Lauren has been working as a veterinary technician for two years and hopes to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the future.
