Since her graduation in 1987 from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary
Medicine, Dr. Gloria Maria Johnson has practiced in Dallas. She
is the eldest child in a military family; her Air Force father
met her Spanish mother while stationed in Zaragoza. She was born
in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and she grew up in Nebraska, Spain,

Murray was an intern. They’ve been close friends ever since, traveling
and hiking the country together over the years. A strong advocate
for unwanted or cast-off pets, she lives with 6 rescues of her
own: Little Rickie, Ian, Hugo, Agnes,Jordan and Tosca.
Dr.
Johnson’s professional special interests include surgery, dentistry,
and behavior. She passionately promotes exercise and offers other
recommendations for happier, healthier and mentally balanced pets.
