Heather has been caring for animals for over 15 years, starting by working for a wildlife rehabilitator when she was in high school. She attended LMU in Harrogate, TN and received her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2006 and became a LVMT in the state of Tennessee in 2007.

In Tennessee, Heather worked at a referral center where she worked in Neurology, Animal Behavior and Internal Medicine, where they performed many specialized procedures such as spinal surgery and chemotherapy. Heather enjoys working with the patients that need her care the most and is very compassionate when it comes to their needs.

Heather moved back to Texas in 2008 and took the state board exams to become a RVT. She resides with her three legged boxer Roe, her dachshund mix Madeline and her three cats, Ophelia, Thirteen and Teeny. She has shared her home with a variety of pets in the past, including her pig Daisy and a pair of hedgehogs. Heather enjoys expanding her knowledge in every aspect of veterinary medicine; loves to cook; is an avid movie buff and would love to travel the world someday.
