Heather Landenberger has been caring for animals for over 15 years, starting when she worked for a wildlife rehabilitator in high school. She received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology degree in 2006 from LMU in Harrogate, Tennessee, and became a LVMT in Tennessee the following year.
Heather is very compassionate and enjoys working with critical care patients the most. In Tennessee, she worked at a referral center in the departments of neurology, animal behavior, and internal medicine. Her work involved the care of patients undergoing specialized procedures such as spinal surgery and chemotherapy.
After returning to Texas in 2008, Heather took the state board exams to become a RVT. She resides with Roe, her three-legged Boxer; Madeline, her Dachshund mix; and three cats, Ophelia, Thirteen, and Teeny. In the past, she has had a pig and a pair of hedgehogs sharing her life. Heather is interested in learning more about all aspects of veterinary medicine, cooking, going to movies, and in the future, traveling the world.
