Dr. Colleen Murray is the oldest of three children raised in a
military family. She traveled a great deal as a child and attended
12 schools before graduating from St. Vincent Academy for Girls
in Shreveport, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree
from Loyola University and her DVM degree from Louisiana State
University. She worked as a primate keeper at Audubon Zoo during
college. She completed an Internship in Small Animal Medicine
and Surgery at Texas A&M and has practiced in Dallas for over
20 years. She shares her home in North Dallas with her 7 cats,
an assortment of Australian and South American birds, and many
fish.
Her goal is to make the most of her time here and be a good steward
to the earth and all her creatures.
