Dr. Colleen Murray is the oldest of three children raised in a military family. As a child she traveled a great deal and attended twelve schools before graduating from St. Vincent Academy for Girls in Shreveport, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Louisiana State University. During her college years, she worked as a primate keeper at the Audubon Zoo. Dr. Murray completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M and has practiced in Dallas for over 20 years. She shares her home in North Dallas with several cats, an assortment of Australian and South American birds, and many fish.

Her goal is to make the most of her time here and to be a good steward to the earth and all her creatures.
