Kiersten Pessin is proud to say she was born and raised in Texas. From the time she was a barefoot young child bringing animals into the house, she knew she would have a career somewhere in the veterinarian world. She graduated in May 2011 from the Veterinarian Technician program at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and happily accepted a job at Katy Trail Animal Hospital. Kiersten is continuing her education in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree, and she might choose to become a veterinarian in the future. For now, she is leaving her options open.
She has shared her home for six years with two dogs. Zeke, a Dalmatian/Blue Heeler mix, is the oldest and sweetest. Heidi, a Jack Russell terrier, is a bundle of energy and loves everyone. Many other animals, including cats, lizards, and an occasional injured wild animal, have found their way to Kiersten. Her free time is spent hanging out with friends and family and definitely playing video games. Her goal is to enjoy life, to try to have fun, and to make everyone smile.
