Amy Wagner was born in Dallas, Texas, and has lived here her entire life. She has always had a soft spot for animals. After graduating in 1992, she began working at her first animal clinic. That experience ignited her passion for animals, and she has continued in the veterinary field ever since.

Amy and her family live in Garland, Texas. Although she is an only child, Amy has a large family of her own. Her husband is a twin, and Amy and her husband have twin boys, in addition to a daughter and two stepchildren. They share their home with Zeke, a Pitbull, and Diesel, a Boston Terrier.
